Today started off aggressively but!

its now 16.50 and all is well. It started around 08-00 when I replied to the "dingbat" half arsed e-mail I recieved from the marina, where they checked out the wrong boat, In which I explained that foreign, lone, yachtsman unfamiliar to the marina layout and without any help from the marina staff are expected to find spare berths in the marina, in bad weather, so given the same berth numbering notations it wasn`t unreasonable of me to expect experienced marina staff to at least get the right boat? Tee Heee! The reply was quick, apologetic and successfull they have taken the steps that I requested and it won,t happen again (yea Right! angle grinders not standing down yet)

The second success of the day was the largest mobile telecoms company in europe accepting that the premium rate gambling charges ( that I have never requested, but was informed that I would have to pay ) illegally levied on my account, would be refunded and payment to the company actioning wouldn`t be carried out! Wow! its turning into a better day.

And "our Girl says that the brits don`t complain? not this one :o))

Two of our oldest friends popped in for a chat and we have now been invited to join them on New years eve for a meal! or did we invite them (who cares? we or they, accepted) so we will have somewhere to go to celebrate! I must brush up on by rendition of Uld Leng sign who ever he was :o)).

Ah, but isn't it a shame that we have to fight so hard and waste energy on what should have been done correctly in the first place? That's the part that always gets me riled up! Glad to hear the battles went your way and thanks for the birthday wishes!

Hi Fuffy! thanks for your best wishes and may I wish you both the very best for the new year too!

As a long retired ex combatant, controlled agression comes all too easily to me :o)) mostly its tongue in the cheek, as was my letter to the marina tee hee!
Big Hugs X
