"The one permanent emotion of the inferior man is fear - fear of the unknown, the complex, the inexplicable. What he wants above everything else is safety." ~Henry Louis Mencken
I plagerised the above quote from a site that I am a regular reader of and I think that its very Apt for today society, particularily in the UK. I have always believed that it is simply a waste of time to worry about(or fear) "that which you can do nothing about" or influece in anyway, In Particular the three main ones in life Death, Taxes, and redundancy. As the inevitable, there isn`t any alternative anyway, so get on with it!
I now have Flu! actually "Man flu" (simply a very slight cold with loads of sympathy) I don`t think there is one Grand father in the world? that hasn`t caught a cold from his grand kids, and thats where I got mine from (don`t you just love them, "snotty" little sausages, that they are?). Am I afraid? of course I`m not! I am "a Man of the above"! But I do hurt and have a sore and running nose with dificulty breathing and need loads of sympathy, poor me :o(( Tee Hee!

Thanks for your sympathy Bill :o))we all get em don`t we I`m trying not to pass it around, but short of the Japanese way of wearing a medical face mask I`m not too sure that I`m achieving much. good to hear from you hows the weather in your part of the world? Where did you get to in your recent travels
Hi Rob,
The weather hasn't been too bad yet, we have been below freezing but then it pops back up again.
We are suppose to get up to 7 inches of snow over the next 2 days.
I drove from Toledo, Ohio to Texas then out to the West coast. Then up to the Grand Canyon and back home with a lot of stops along the way.
About 6,000 miles. :))

Wow! How lovely! its a great country, you would never need to go abroad? you have it all under one flag. In the UK to get sun you have to leave and visit spain or North Africa or Florida. All you have to do is jump into your auto! how nice :o))
