Whoa!!!!!!! I`m back in the world of the living, whopeee...
Finally I am allowed to again write on my Blog???? and as usual I have nothing much worthwhile to say really, Or do I?. Well I guess I can speak about what I have been doing during my time silent, just to get me warmed up, but in the meantime...........
Bouy!!!!!!!!! did you see the opening of the Paraolympics? wasn`t that some spectacle. When I get a minor cough or a cold I "go down" like a ton of bricks, but all those "guys" are incredible, How they have coped with their own particular disability is amazing I often wish I had their resolve and drive, they are incredible. I look forward to watching the events, although with a certain sadness (not pity, never pity as to a man and woman, they wouldn`t want that).
I once came across a group of young people in wheel chairs celebrating at their own picnic out side the "Burnt stub mansion" at the park I onced worked at, they were celebrating by dancing in their wheelchairs to a transistor radio, twirling and "jigging" in time to the music, and generally having a great time, One of their number broke away and came across to me asking if it was OK? as they were on a smooth pedestrian tarmac area (ideal for such an enterprise) at the very front of the old Manor House where at that time the offices were housed, and did we mind? (which of course I said we didn`t).
I asked somewhat nievly, "are you enjoying yourselves" to which he (it was a young man about twenty years old) replied that they had all had a great day and that the facilities and access for disabled people were second to none as far as he was concerned. Thanking me profusel;y we parted he to continue to dance and me back to work. The memory and feelings of enthusiasm for life, that eminated from those guys is still with me today.
I look forward to experiencing that very same feeling ( a sort of re-charge if you like) from the games as I watch them this time around. They are all truly incredible people and I am so proud to have them amongst us.
Back to the project, well I am again floundering a bit, not for the first time, sure I produce Hydrogen (doesnt everybody now-a-days, not so when I started some six years ago) Quite how I progress will come? but so far it hasn`t, so I have taken to trying other means of producing energy including plasma fusion as many of you may re-call my plasma Plug installation on my work bench. I am now attempting to produce a single sub-atomic plasma fusion experiment on my work bench, that maybe can help to prove that "cold fusion" (thankyou Dr`s Flieshman and pons) is not only possible but alive and supressed in our society today!
"Suppressed" do I hear you ask? well if it turns out that even a simple man with aspirations (and vast amounts of help, thankyou Dave) like me, can prove that it works there maybe great mileage in it working for the greater good of Humanity and maybe in an untaxed manner???? think about it, how do you tax a creation simply manufactured by the individual from a few scraps, you don`t, but you do create an aura of danger and threat to human life and by doing so maybe Legally ban its use? or alternately regulate it out of existance for the everyday family to use. Mmmmmm, lets get there first!
I am at the starting gates and ready almost to test my first construction, will it work??? who knows? I have great hopes that it should and if it does? I will be very happy as that is the first step to proving (at least to myself) that the great doctors (Fleishman and Pons so rediculously denegrated by the scientific world at the time, when they, maybe, prematurely disclosed to the world their "cold fusion") were right.
Meanwhile Dr Rossi and a few others are way ahead of me with what he calls the e,cat, of which a commercial version of five megawatts production is soom to be available on the market, he just has to get it past all the controlls and regulation and on to the market, so you can now see that the powers to be, are not going to allow the realease of this onto the market until they have found a way to tax it???? or bann it!:o(( The scientific world also are having a really bad time trying to ignore this development as he had it working before they could decry it, they have muttered about radiation etc, just to whet the appetites of the scare mongers ( lets face it a microwave oven gives of "radiation" (why do they do this you ask?) they do this because they haven`t thought of it first, that it "flys in the face" of the science that they were taught,
Very few scientists will grasp a theory until its proven particularily if its outside their own area of reference. fortunately I don`t have any scientific training so I am not curtailed by the greater expertese that would cause me to say immediately its impossible, in the same manner that 2 of the 3 professors that I approached with my initial project " its impossible to get out more than you one puts in" I wasn`t allowed to explain that I didn`t put the 1800+ litres of Hydrogen in a litre of water 0r the 900+ litres of Oxygen and that I`m only attempting to extract it? They simply battered me with Faradays law, we have nuclear fusion and photovoltaic cells don`t we?
Having stood in the great mans laboratory area (as I did last year) I realised that he too ( Faraday) was self taught (and so unshackled by education) so maybe I should continue (not that I could begin to think that I might achieve what the great man did in his lifetime, but maybe if I could achieve a grain of sand size peice in comparison ? I would be happy.
This is why I believe that thgeoretical physics and sciences and their great men like Proffessor Stephen Hawkins are so important, they don`t argue against what they don`t know until they are certain that there is no reason why they should, and even then others will argue for until they are sure that they shouldnt?????? well something like that anyway. funny how we got back to Professor Hawkins eh? :o)) "Great job opening the games Prof!" :o))
